I am looking into building a Gen vI 427 But dont see any rotating assemblies for this idea.
I can find cranks so what rdos and pistons do you all think for this combo

There is a good reason why very few people even consider building a 427 big block any more, its that with current heads and technology a larger displacement makes more sense, your cost will be similar either way, so while you could build a 427 I can,t think of a single reason to do so, when you could build a 489 cubic inch big block with the same bore and block using a 4.25" crank and 6.385: connecting rods.
lets assume both engines will make 1.25 hp and 1.1 ft lbs per cubic inch of displacement.
the larger displacement engine will produce more torque in a much easier to access power band and allow you to operate the engine in about 800 rpm lower average power band which your valve train will appreciate

427 =533 hp & 469 ft lbs of torque
498= 611 hp & 537 ft lbs of torque

the only difference between a 489 and a 496 is a slightly larger bore on the 496 vs the 489
