Generic Drive-by-Wire Throttle Assy

This may be an off the wall question, but here goes:

I'm building my 1968 VW Bug for the Silver State Classic (95MPH Class), and the USFRA 130MPH Club. The car will be running a 2052cc Turbocharged engine.

The original tubes for the clutch and throttle cables inside the VW Chassis are rusted out, so I'm going to use an hydraulic clutch and I'd like to use an electrically/electronic controlled throttle.

Does anyone produce a generic Drive-by-Wire Throttle Pedal/Carburetor Actuator Assembly that I can adapt to the dual Weber carb setup on my engine?

I've already talked to Lokar without any luck.

I checked those links and many more sites...it seems unless you have a computer controlled engine, no one makes a "stand alone" drive-by-wire throttle system... :(

I was hoping you would find something.

I've wondered several times over the last three years how I could limit the TBucket when the wife drives it. I have not tried to research it, because I figured it would be too expensive.

It would be possible I think to take this guys idea for an electric shifter and modify it to create a fly by wire throttle. Lots and lots of safety considerations before putting something like this on the street thou.

I know he has posted part numbers and diagrams, just can't find them right now.
