Try to bring as many trusted friends as you can arrange,
remove your license plate while at the track, some dealers void warrants on cars seen at the track!

if you start loosing directional stability... let off the gas and steer, down track and apply the brakes sparingly untill your stabile, don,t think winning at the risk of smacking into a barrier is worth it, it NEVER IS!

change you air filter for a clean new one, an old clogged one costs hp

do an oil change with good oil prior to racing heat and stress and oil dirty oil are bad for bearings

adjust tire pressure to get full width tire contact with the track

bring a damn Co2 fire extinguisher

have someone you can call with a car trailer whos available if you break down!

never leave valuables in the car while its parked and lock it securely

fill the tank 1/2 full of high test gas

check coolant, transmission fluid and brake fluid levels

bring a SNELL APPROVED HELMET

wear long pants and closed toe shoes
now Ive slowed down and I'm pathetic averaging between,0.18- 0.200 seconds on raw reaction speeds but the game helps concentration and reaction times so play and you'll get better on the tree at the track, or if your nearly hopeless you'll need a lot of practice.
cutting close to a consistent .500 light is very possible, if you practice

this tests raw reaction speed

these allow you to practice on the tree, I can generally cut a .500-.530 light,on the sportsmans tree, see what you can do?

and yeah, anyone can OCCASIONALLY cut good lights, whats the average on TEN LIGHTS and REMEMBER, DON,T REDLIGHT YOU LOSE

"In true drag racing, I've always gone with launching on the last yellow, and have never had a redlight."

I usually wait for the last yellow to just start to fade and then apply throttle, I usually cut a .51-.52 range, you generally can.t floor the throttle or youll just sit and smoke the slicks, you need to slowly open the throttle over maybe a 1/2 second rather than snap it open if you want to launch well and get good 60 ft times if youve got any where near decent power available
