I stumbled across this site in a search to learn how to tune a Street Avenger 670. I'm hoping maybe somebody can point me toward thread 831. I own a '57 Chevy 3100 and am learning about Chevy engines. I'm located in SoCal, temporarily :)
 
what is it your having trouble WITH?

Thank you. I'm not having trouble with the carb, yet :). I still have to install it. However, I have been reading about transfer slots and adjusting them so that only 0.020" shows. I trying to figure out how to accomplish this.
 
I once read, and it works well for me, is to reveal just enough of the transfer slot that what shows is a tiny square of it - effectively nearly closed.
