Belgium to be precise... Now where is that?

Have a chevelle that I have had for 8 years now...

I used to say Overdrive or bust.

Now I say 11 seconds or bust...

Grumpy gets me closer all the time...

Oh, and spot the one difference on the car between the two pics...

only obvious differance I see is the pass. or right side rear view mirror is only in one picture

Greetings D,
Nice Chevelle, How is it you came about that girl, and what do you have under the hood?
If I remember correctly 305/7. But I'm thinking you may have done a little work on her...

Hehehehe - I only noticed the missing rearview after posting.

In 2001 in a backstreet of Belgium I drove by it (it was taupe metalic at the time). I bought it for $2500 and have been modifying it since. "It's not how you got it, it's why you bought it!"

It had an L6 with 40,000 miles and spent the last 12 years on four flat tires.

The interior is nearly mint and untouched.

So far I have:
- increased power: Babyblower on an AFR-headed, roller-cammed SBC 400.
- swapped out the TH350 for a TH200-4R that I modified and rebuilt
- rewired everything from ignition to fused switch board.
- improved handling: boxed lower arms, polyurethane all over, monster sway bars, fast steering box (from a TransAm), adjustable shocks...
- Gear swapped to 3.42:1 with and auto locker.
- Pro-ratchet shifter
- Lot's o' gauges including A/F sensors, knock sensors, trans pressure and temp, overrides for fans and torque converter clutches...
- body prepping for fresh paint in my drive way.

Likely other stuff too that escapes me.

Will post some pics later today.

:D Sweet ride, Dorian! I remember when you first began building more speed into her.

Great to hear from you. Its been quite a while. Race for chocolates?

Best regards,

Harry
