Hello all. My name is Glenn and I live up near Seattle, WA. I have a '27 Ford Roadster (Speedway body) with a SBC and PG. Looking forward to meeting and talking with folks here. Happy Friday! Glenn

Glad to see you found your way to Grumpy's forum!

I do some work on the car, but no major projects planned for the near future. I do want to one day soon build a blower motor (always wanted one), but that is something I am going to do over a couple year period probably once I find a good core to work with. Right now the car is running and looking good and with the sun out it is just time for driving. Here are just a couple pics so as not too gum up the server. Thanks for the warm welcome all! -Glenn

Thanks Rick. One day I want to figure out how to get that brown "haze" off of the intake. I have tried carb cleaner and other concoctions with a tooth brush and nothing seems to work. I initially thought it was from a fuel leak, but I don't have any leaks. Maybe it is just something that aluminum does after a while.

Thanks Grumpy, I have always liked a "tall" looking motor. When I was a kid every drag car I drew had a tall motor and the big old "bug catcher" on it. Really like what I have seen on the site thus far, thanks for doing this.

-Glenn

Can you fo me a favor as a custom painter and striper can you post some pics of the striping it is super clean

Hello John, I will certainly try to remember to do that. I am at work now and have kind of a busy weekend, but I will try to send you some pics of the striping via email. It was there when I bought the car and I forget the name of the guy on the east coast that did it. I guess he is some "famous" pin striper over there and he actually signed the large piece on the rear end of the car. Some of the cruise ins I have been to there was some folks that recognized his name. -Glenn

Awesome car Glenn! I love roadsters.

There were a bunch of young guys I met in New Zealand earlier this year, that drive around in roadsters wearing leather jackets and slicked back hair... It was a cool scene.. :)
