Im still trying guys, but things are rather hectic around here, since my son passed ,
Im the only adult male and both my wife and my daughter in law have an endless list
of stuff that needs to be done, my wife wants me to recondition the house,
sell and move to Texas and my daughter in laws a complete leach financially

Your wife thinks like me, on the other hand my wife sees no sense in fixing or renewing anything if you are selling. She says “why should we pay for something someone else gets?”

It’s time to step out of your comfort zone. You’re a nice guy here with us, no doubt you are at least this much and more at home with the family. The longer you put off a heart to heart talk with the DIL, the more difficult things become. If anything happens to you, your wife bares more unnecessary stress.
