Having my Hammerhead 12 Bolt Center Section installed in my 1986 Dana 36. It requires a Dana 44 Batwing. It's being done at Heisler Automotive in Hamilton, New Jersey is doing the install

Just talked to Steve on the phone.
He told me to take a look here.
Not Bad.
All brand New.

Its also made to fit into a Dodge Viper.
C-beam front mount on both sides Grumpy.

while it may be stronger than a dana 36,
I wonder how much stronger than a dana 44 it is,
and the cost and delivery info???

Its A lot Grumpy.
I know exact how much.
Out of Respect for my Bud Steve I can't say.
It has been a dream for him for the past 2 years.
Has come True for Him.

According to Tray at Street Shop Inc. it can handle 1000 HP with no problem with 30 spline, there are a few customer that are pushing more and it has been dependable. My goal is around 1500 HP with the turbo.

It looks like a valid choice, I just wish the price allowed a wider market, and more people to install them.
thus we would get a better feel for real world durability

The market is so small Grumpy thus high asking buying price.
Not something I can afford so I won't dream about it.
Best you can do.
REALITY WILL KICK YOU DEAD ON IN THE GROIN .

The spacer had to be cut into 2 because it was too tall to fit in the C-beam on one side. Half on top and bottom was what is needed to center the Hammerhead for driveshaft alignment

wow hat looks like a bad ass diff... i would love to mock something like that up in the c4 since mines dana 36 equipped

thanks for posting some really good clear photos and providing some details

Missed adding this picture, This is the final C-Beam attachment

Driveshaft is going to be steel with 1350 U-Joint, the stock half shaft to spindle/knuckle, camber brackets, lower arms are suppose to fit/align correctly with the stock components. That's how the Street Shop made it. The Street Shop uses the same set up on their C4 chassis that they sell. Since my car has a Gear Vendor already the C-Beam had to be modified differently.

For the coin they are getting for those I would rather it fit the C beam properly with out the spacers. Seems like a weak point in the system.
