I'm a long time Corvette Forum member and ended up here after searching far and wide for some information on Corvette Forum. Needless to say I'm familiar with Grumpy's great posts and I've used several of them to accomplish several DIY fixes.
A little about me...
I'm an electrical engineer by day, mostly doing software development oddly enough, and a car / video game enthusiast by night. I grew up around Studebaker's that my father fixed up as his hobby. His family was always big into the Studebaker brand, his brothers and father all worked for the company at one time or another. My car experience has pretty much always revolved around the GM LSx/LTx small block V8. My wife and I have had the pleasure of owning a 1999 Corvette fixed roof coupe, a 2004 Cadillac CTS-V, and most recently a 2006 Corvette coupe. The bulk of the reason I spend time on car forums has been to read up on the LSx development, and find DIY instructions or information for troubleshooting our 1999.
In any event, I wanted to say hello here and take a moment to thank Grumpy for putting the site together. I'm looking forward to getting to know folks here.
Cheers.
Matt
