Looks like a great forum. I’m looking forward to learning from everyone. I’m working on a restomod of a 1964 El Camino. This is what it looked like when I first got it. It had a 283 and powerglide transmission. I gave it power steering and hydro boost power brakes, 4 disc brakes from a 2000 Camaro, 17x9 wheels. Air bags to help haul a motorcycle or heavier loads. Front end and rear end updated with front and rear sway bars. Still has original 8.2” 10 bolt non-posi rear end, 3.08 gear ratio.
Putting in a stock 350 sbc (maybe turn it into a 383 at some point) and currently working on the 200-4R transmission.
I want to make a smugglers box and add air conditioning if I move to Arizona. I’m contemplating doing a serpentine belt conversion and fuel injection.
