Hi all my name is Herb and I am here trying to learn a couple things about heads,port matching, porting heads and polishing!

I have a 1992 chevy 2500 that the motor needs to be rebuilt and it is a tbi motor! I would like to put a vortec in it but run my tbi throttle body and my ecm from my old tbi motor! I also know there is some stuff I have to change for this to happen!

So that’s why I’m here I think this site is awesome and I will invite some friends and hope to meet some new ones along the way!

Thank You and I will post pics and questions and lol of it when I’m ready to build which won’t be long as I need the truck!
 
Welcome ! Port the TBI intake Full Race.
Hog it out.
It's only a 2bbl layout.
Find a 454 TBI throttle body and bolt it on.
Edelbrock used to make a 1987-1995 TBI 350 intake. It's been discontinued. May find it used searching.
