Help With Engine I.d.

I purchased an old hot rod that was set up to race (but never raced). I can't ID the engine. Other old posts on the internet can't either.

Engine Numbers (absolutely these):
V0104TND
3970010
L241

The TND code is sometimes shown as a 6 Cyl or a newer 350, but the casting numbers say a 1971 if 3970010 is 1969-1979. I can't find any confirmation of what it is.

Anyone have an idea?

we have lots to reference material and helpful links and sub-links,
you can use to identify parts,
but, your looking for info based on a suspicious basis,
simply because the previous owner had dozens of reasons to upgrade or
extensively modify components,
and zero reason to keep original parts.
the only real way to know is a complete dis-assembly and careful detailed inspection,

if its a built racing engine that started as a stock block, damn near anything could and probably was upgraded in the process
example
my old 1985 corvette, the only original component is a block thats been extensively re-machined,block decked
bored, splaid 4 bolt main caps added etc, every other component like the rotating assembly and heads, intake oil pan etc. was not original or from chevy
