Here’s one for the books!

Id want to pull the heads and oil pan, look over the heads and block very carefully before purchase as the pictures, missing parts,
and low price make me a bit suspicious,
Id be expecting to find damage too the heads and block,
simply because adding the valves and valve train and having an engine that could be started up,
would cost only several thousand dollars at most if those are good parts
, but easily boost the sell price to double the current asking price.(if every component is in good working condition.

I could be wrong but if this block isn’t a warranty replacement and it has normal stampings then there is car out there missing its original motor and that equates to big bucks to a collector in need.
GM didn’t make many COPO Camaros and many of them blew their motors fast. BJackson said during a show that half the COPOs motors are replacements, but date correct 427s.

I’m not anywhere near qualified to judge this motor. I feel if this was any good it would be long gone by now. There are too many shops for thousands of miles around scouring CL for legitimate parts for need and flipping.

It might be the real deal.
Its weathered oxidized up like an original.
