watch the video but keep in mind neither truck is remotely stock, both are heavily modified and its the design and QUALITY OF THE FABRICATION,QUALITY of the modifications, and welding skills that were used in the fabrication, that produce the problem, not the trucks manufacturer or lack of power, etc.
a properly modified and re-enforced frame and suspension that was welded correctly would not have those issues

I got my '82 chassis back from sandblasting today and the quality of the factory welding is comical. Go home, robot, you're drunk.. lol.

I assume everyone who has been here done that saw similar stuff?

those are good examples in an end-less list of good reasons,
WHY YOU REALLY NEED TO BUY AND LEARN HOW TO USE A QUALITY MIG OR TIG WELDER
theres a few tools like a drill press,

hydraulic press

and a good welder

that are almost mandatory if you intend to pursue this hobby of modifying and maintain,cars for better performance

I couldn't say it on Digital Corvette Forum John but Both my 1970 TA & 1963 Grand Prix have 1000 times better factory welds on the Frames.

Kinda Glad I own a C4 Corvette also.
The Space type Unitized frame is a milestone improvement.

Different age better work ethic and american pride in 1970 and 1963 why in 80's our cars were laughed at quality wise
