Hey Grumpy - check this out.....

I have never seen it before Mike.
In very Good Condition.

image.jpg Made by Ridgeway and co-engineered by Debs racing in CT. In the mid 50's. It's a straight tunnel ram. These were sold through Ridge Runner Speed shops and marketing targeted Gasser cars.
I have one in dual quad form with 2 AFB carbs. Most were made of Magnesium until the early 1960's when they were banned from track use after a number of fires and people were hurt.
In 1970 Edelbrock bought the patent and then the Ridgeway company with a non-compete clause.
If you ever go to the big swap meet in Hersey PA you can find many of these for $250 to $500 used for vintage car club racing and period Gasser car restorations.

You old guys got to have all the FUN.
Actually, I wish I were born about 50 years earlier so that
I would have experienced when this country was the greatest.
I was born in 1967. I'm almost 50 now. Future outlook for this country NOT GOOD.

Let's see - born 50 years earlier you would have endured the WWI and its aftermath of diphtheria, tuberculosis and Poliovirus, the Great Depression then WWII, the Korean War, the Resession of the late 50's early 60's, the Vietnam War, the mid 70's Resession, 2 oil embargoes '(73 & 79), early 80's hyper stagflation (mortgages were above 20%, money market accounts paid 23% and car loans were 18% on average).
By the early 80's Free Love and stretchy gauze tube-tops were gone replaced by the fear of contracting AIDS. Since you were born 50 years sooner than 1967, there is little point discussing anything past the late '80's because you are likely dead by then.
Besides, I think you're referring to Grumpy when you say "Old Guys"

Somehow all of that seems better than where we are headed.
