Old time car bug. Did a home built 454 Vega in the early 80's when my son was in HS.
Now helping him (long distance and trips) with a 383 SBC in a 1956 F100.
 
I had a SBC vega station wagon at one time ! too bad those cars are so difficult to find in decent condition now!
what are you currently working on??
any pictures?
 
Son has "rough" 56' F100 pickup we've been working on.
We put a volarie front end under it and it now has a 3.73, 8.8 Explorer rear.
It has a clunker 307 in it for mock up, which will be replaced by the 383 we are putting together.
Aiming at a medium street 383, 425ish to 450 hp.
I'll see if I can get a pic or two to post I will post them.
