Hotrod Top Speed 213 mph @ 9,300 rpm pass

Hitting 200 is my goal for LSR. Once I get my car back in action on track and sorted the engine and trans upgrade will be the next big project. I'm gonna try to do it with Pontiac torque rather than spinning the engine to the moon. My car was in Hot Rod many years ago for an article on the Top Speed Challenge beck when the ECTA was still running at Maxton NC.

It can be done with Pontiac Torque '70 Bird Man.
Trying to keep the 1970 Bird Stable at 200 mph and over will be the Hard part without wind tunnel testing.

Our Cars , 1970-1/2 Firebird & Trans Am are blessed with Excellent Hooker Super Comp Long Tube Header designs in D-Port & Roundport Ram Air IV Configuration.
Only the 1967-1969 BBC Camaro & 1970-73 Camaro has similar off the shelf headers that actually perform to true Drag & Road Race needs.
Build anything you want but without excellent headers all the Money $$$$$ IS wasted.

There was a 1969 Pontiac Trans Am that won the Worlds Fastest Street Car Shootout in the past.
Going back 15-20 years ago now.
Steel -cast iron factory Ram Air 4 round port heads used.
Factory Pontiac Block.
Stroker build. 474-480 cubes.
Beat every single Chevy & Mopar in the 8-9 second field.

1969 T/A Ram Air 4 was at the 1400-1600 HP Flywheel power.
