I don,t know about you guys but I find I feel I'm missing a darn important tool if I go anywhere without some type of small knife to open cartons cut rope and a hundred other uses
I don,t like folders Ive seen too many break, and yes I do also carry a gerber folder in my pocket most of the time, but If I'm going any place where I can get away with it socially, I try hard to carry at least a decent working knife with a fixed blade, thats both dependable , with an edge that takes a good razor sharp hone and not overly expensive.

I know Ive purchased at least 5 of these sharade woodsman knives over the last 45 years , my "HUNTING BUDDIES" keep borrowing them and I never seem to get them back, luckily they are not expensive at about $28 each but they work real well gutting and skinning elk. a knife like this is basically a nearly indispensable tool, and not really what Id think of as something with weapon potential, but a whole lot better to use as a tool than the box cutters with snap in razor blades I see many guys have in the tool box

i do have box cutters and razor blades abound for many purposes. even plastic razor blades... but i keep a real knife with a partially serrated edge handy for cutting rope and stuff because sometimes a box cutter just wont do.
