CRIAGS LIST
AMAZON,
the local bargain trader magazine
I look occasionally and if you do so regularly youll on occasion find deals where some guys moving, getting a divorce, or the bussiness is moving or closing, you can look fow weeks at a time and not find a darn thing but if you find a good deal and buy one....the next few weeks will have several better deals without fail!
keep an eye out for any place like that welding shop that might be moving or closing you might be able to score a good financial deal,
on a used welder, most places would rather make a few hundred bucks rather than store older equipment as they would generally prefer,
to upgrade the equipment at the new location or when they restart the business.
you might also look for adds in the local craigs list or bargain trader magazines.
learning to correctly TIG weld with a decent TIG welder will open your eyes,
too huge field of options, and a myriad of potential and until then un-dreamed of ideas
owning a decent MIG and TIG welder and a heavy duty drill press or better yet a MILL and lathe ,
leaves you open to the potential to build a huge assortment of custom, & unique and in most case's,
project's with a great deal more performance potential than your limited too buying components off the shelf.

yeah freely admit I'm a tool junkie
ebay (look for local adds as the welder would ideally be tested before purchasing it)
