I don,t know about you gentlemen,
But I occasionally stop at yard sales and browse through pawn shops,
look through craigs list, the bargain shopper mag, and ebay looking for deals on new or used tools.
I know I generally get a sense of accomplishment,
if I acquire a few new tools, at a bargain price,
if I can use, them in my shop.
theres occasionally bargains to be had, and dozens of jerks and scammers of course.
you can find some impressive deals at times when businesses close out inventory or a store is closing.
or some shop is upgrading its equipment.
Ive picked up several tools and gauges at yard sales and off ebay,
nothing really impressive but its hard to pass on tools selling for 30%-60% of the typical sale prices you see ,
simply to purchase a new tool,
if your offered a rather pristine example of a used tool at a significant discount
anyone grabbed a good deal they might want to brag about/
, or found a good deal they can share lately??
