how much horse power ?

grumpy, I can,t really find a local rear wheel dyno, I trust to not screw up my car (I,ve heard too many horror stories about busted engines) and I probably don,t want to spend the cash to get my car dyno tested, but Id like to know how much power the car puts out! Ive heard my engine combo puts out well over 450 fly wheel horse power but I have my doubts

if you know your cars actual weight with you sitting in it and your 1/4 mile trap speed , its a fairly accurate way to determine your true rear wheel horse power

(and don,t be too disappointed if you find your engine that you brag about that has ( 450-500 hp) has significantly less at the rear wheels)
and anything over 400 rear wheel hp in a street cars impressive
