mounting a transmission fluid cooler like this on a frame rail and having a electric pump to constantly cycle rear differential fluid through the cooler from that differential will generally reduce the rear differential lubricant temps about 20F or a bit more and that is frequently just enough to significantly increase the read differential bearing and gear life expectancy if your road racing or towing.
