I thought this was interesting and could be very useful in the right situation.

I can think back too at least a dozen past engine and drive train swaps where that material would have been a huge asset if its not to expensive!
I can easily see a layer of bubble wrap placed over a transmission that was larger than the original cars trans tunnel would allow to be installed, to maintain the necessary clearance ,followed by carefully cut and formed hyper clothe, then once thats rigid it can be used to form the temporary but left in place ,support base and a layer of fiberglass mat and resin bing used too add structural strength to form a trans tunnel cover or if your tubbing a rear differential area.
rather than the carefully cut card board and duct tape and chicken wire most swaps in the past used
