my younger sons wife purchased a new ,nissan juke, with a full factory warantee,
about three years ago for basic economical transportation
640x480

over the last week it developed a shudder and odd noise during acceleration in the right front wheel area.
so as its still under warranty, she brought it in to be inspected and repaired.
they hit her with the typical dealership high pressure sales B.S. about while your in the shop youll need an oil change transmission flush, new brakes, a brake fluid flush, alignment , etc.
but the repair was 100% covered under warranty, the bill would have exceeded $900 if she allowed them to do everything on the list they proposed.
I told her to get the transmission flush and new trans fluid , and wheel alignment, but Id change her brakes brake fluid ,fan belts and several other things on the list.
she asked what was causing the "shudder and odd noise during acceleration "
youll love this, I almost had coffee coming out my nose when she quoted the service order writers response,
.

.
.

"we replaced the front axles and constant velocity joints,
under warranty, as they were totally worn out...
.
.
.

after all thats not unexpected with the
BRUTAL TORQUE that turbo charged engine produces
in that light weight car after 70K miles"
1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 producing 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque

HONESTLY he said that! I almost choked on my coffee, when she said that!

she got out with the car repaired under warranty and the bill was semi reasonable
so everything worked out well, and I had a good laugh!!
