I will bring the block and heads in (who knows when) to be checked for... "rebuildability" ?
What is the best thing to do with the block and heads ? For the block I take it I should remove all the plugs but leave the crank and bearings in the block for the machinist to examine.
The heads... since I am chucking the springs anyway, I can disassemble entirely as well; just keep the valves in order.
Hm, I definitely would far prefer a rotating assembly internally balanced with damper and flywheel included.
