if you need to build a car trailer this will help

I'm wondering how important seamless sides are when thinking about leaks, this would include riveted sides???

How hard is it to add wiring to the interior such as lights after the trailer is built???

Related to the question above about wiring, what kind of things are best done when the trailer is built???

Can the electric tongue jack and/or winch be added later without extreme difficulty ???

use the correct connectors solder connections and use a color code chart,
I generally use 10 ga wire and solder connections and heat shrink tube insulator sleeves,
work out the connection diagram on paper before you start,
use a multimeter

Just a tip when using shrink tube, as a protective cover,
over wires leaving an electrical socket or sensor,
Ive generally found adding some silicone sealant,

on the electrical connection to wire exit areas, to the area the shrink tube covers is a good idea to further reduce moisture damage

I've generally welded and bolt-on d-rings with grade 8 bolts
to the trailer to secure safety chains
and yes looped thru and secured with 1/2" thread links

I hadn't thought about it, but most trailers have an open ceiling, so it would be easy to run wires
there and drop down into the wall where the power is needed.
