Avalanche is my choice. Same size as a Suburban, can still carry 4x8 sheets covered by removing the mid-gate. Everything in the back is lockable, also 'saddle bags' on the box sidewalls to lock up tools

The Avalanche is a great truck. It is a very versitol vehicle.
We own one for our winter ride while we keep our Duramax truck in storage.
Michigan winters can be Hell on vehicles!

yeah, I purchased a 2005 chevy avalanche back in about 2009, my younger son took it with him,
when he got married and with my reluctant permission sold it
for part of the down payment on his new house basically I made a significant financial contribution to help out as the truck cost me $20K when I bought it.

yeah, most of us go a long way toward helping our kids get started in life...it ain't cheap

Kids aint cheap any way you look at it then just when you get done with them they put grandchildren into the mix but I wouldn't change it for the world

Well, as much as I liked many of the features on the 5.0 litre 2016 F150 super crew 4x I purchased new, I grew to loathe the electronics and the inability to tap into the 12v sources at will. So, I sold it, bought a 1981 big block/TH400 C20, and a 1980 350/TH400 K30 and am in the midst of swapping cab/bed, etc., from the C20 to the K30 to get what I want when finished.
