Ignition curve for a centrifugal blown SBC

Grmbl - one of the rare times Summitracing annoys me. I made an order on November 8, only to discover it did not ship yet. The least important part, spare hood clips/pins, were on back order till 11/29. Grmbl.

Modified the order... I dumped the adjust-a-jet. I haven't heard rave reviews about it and I think I'd rather prefer swapping numbered jets.

In addition, I ordered new plugs + PS pump and offset pulley to go with it... and spare hood clips that are in stock.

Still waiting on the new pulley and belt as well, supercharger oil + 15/16 master cylinder. Thankfully it's cold out there and I am not too much in a rush to sort things and freezing my nuts off in the driveway in the process.

You gotta be kidding! The order was held up AGAIN because the other hood pins I ordered instead were also on backorder. So, hurry up and wait again - if they don't ship today, it will not make it in time for next weekend. If they do ship out today, it may not make it in time for next weekend. :x

Pics coming up as we go along.

And... dyno session soon to follow.

take a few deep breaths, step back and have a nice 6 oz brandy,or a 32 oz beer,.. parts rarely arrive as scheduled, and 1/2 the time they don,t fit correctly and theres always going to be more races.
the important thing is not having a minor stroke over what you can,t control or what some minimum wage moron does to your parts order
darn I REALLY wish you were located locally I bet we could have a great deal of fun.

Thanks... but you know... you might consider visitng Old Europe one of these days... ;) Be glad to have you over.

thanks for the offer, I would not mind a visit if finances allowed but currently things won,t stretch

I feel your pain Dorian, when you really want it, something goes wrong. But if it doesn't really matter, then it gets there early.

Just called Summit again - they STILL did not ship. They forgot to delete the item from the box. Grmbl.

Will buy a park plug viewer too - I intend to tune on the dyno via the spark plugs.

Parts shipped yesterday... Grmbl. Likely they'll get here for next weekend.

its always great when parts finally arrive, especially if they fit and function as advertized, I helped a guy replace his worn starter in his 1995 corvette, after seeing him spend $150 plus on a rebuilt starter I ordered a rebuild kit for $35 for my car, (not having $150) and knowing its only a mater of time before ID need to replace or rebuild mine
