Anybody have knowledge of the MOPAR 426 Hemi? How much is reasonable for a rebuild-able long block or a running assembly? Any years better than others to watch for? I was thinking of a project obtaining a good motor and hunting down a body that is missing it's born-with Hemi. Any suggestions on where to look for reasonable prices?
 
Ive built several 426 hemi engines, over the years, but a bunch more of 392 early hemis

keep in mind 392 and 426 hemis are fairly heavy and wider than most other engines, and while they have a good reputation the cost is significantly higher than building a big block chevy, and a BOSS 429 based ford hemi or SOHC engine can also be an option to look into
