impressive and obviously extremely expensive charger with engine upgrade

That,s a sweet looking car. Personally I would prefer to have the stance raised an 1' or 2" higher. I am not a big fan of cars sitting on the ground.

yeah, adding an additional inch or so too the ground clearance,
on a car built with custom aluminum and carbon fiber panel's,
on a street driven car, that probably costs in excess of $150K-$200K,
would certainly be a good idea.
projects like that are damn impressive but so far out of range,
financially for most of us, its ludicrous

Dodge leads the Modern Muscle Car race.

one more in a short list of things Id buy in a heart beat if I won the lotto/ mega millions
It's alot of Money Grumpy but Your
Buying a Full Bore Race Car put on the Street.
Carbon Fiber body.
Aluminum floors.
I see a 14 point Roll cage that No Corvette has and needs very Badly.
Bad Azz To The Bone.
You can tell its a 9-second car with a Good Driver.

I take nothing away from that car at all. It is a very bad azz vehicle for sure and I would be proud to be the owner!
But like Grumpy stated... It is too far out of reach as is most "modern muscle cars" for the average working man to obtain. Unlike the muscle cars of the 60's.
they where priced so that the average working man could afford them.

My boss and I had a discussion on this topic awhile ago and he made a very good analogy... Compare the wage of a journeyman tool maker in 1978 to the cost of a 1978 pick-up truck , now look at the wage of a journeyman toolmaker today and compare it to a 2019 pick-up truck and see the percentage gap.
Today's vehicles are getting to far out of reach for the average working man. And if you want a performance vehicle today..You are basically looking at a second mortgage.

yeah I could afford a great deal more when I was making a good deal less in wages back in the 1990s,
my mortgage ,insurance and taxes are easily 10 -12 times as much now,
compared too what the total was,too what the total was back then, in total,
and Im making less now.

Speaking of performance cars... My boss just bought this car..http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/2010/...-shows-off-custom-widebody-2011-shelby-gt500/

He is into road racing and likes the BMW's but he found this car ... someone smashed the front passanger fender and corner. Being that it is a one off car, he contacted Galpin (who built the car) to see if they would repair it.

I now know why I did not get a cost of living raise last year! o_O

He is still a cool boss though!
