In depth carb tunning discussions

I've always been interested in carbs and how they function and the challenge of tuning them,

There is a great deal of info here and I'm slowly reading through the articles but I'm really interested in info that is more in-depth in the tuning of carbs as in modifications to really get the tune dialed in to the engine.

*air bleed tuning
*main air bleed tuning
*individual circuit tuning
*power valve tuning
*transition circuit tuning
*tuning the fuel curve

I have a LM-1 on my car and am logging TPS, O2 (both wide and narrow band), RPM, MAP and radiator fan volts when not energized (air flow). I've spent a large amount of time tuning my carb to the engine and have gotten it close. Right now I'm working a lean spike during tip in at cruise. Its not noticeable at the seat of the pants but the LM-1 shows it. I've been able to reduce it with reducing the man air bleeds and it looks as if I'll be able to eliminate it this way with no negative effect to the fuel curve.

I've read a few books on Holley tuning but none are to the level I would like to see,

The best info I've found was the forum on the Innovate site but they have shut the forum down and all the into is gone.

Is a good idea to keep your eyes open, and look around at local yard sales , and swap meets and salvage yards, for older carburetors (especially HOLLEYS 4 barrel carbs as they have a reasonably good supply of replacement parts )and if theres ANY indication that the guys selling mechanics tools or car parts ALWAYS ASK if he has old carbs for sale, you might not be able to rebuild all of them successfully but they will all provide parts for later builds and EXPERIENCE youll find useful.
