a great deal of the build is in the carful clearancing of components and selecting the best matched components
lower rotating assembly .block and oil and valve train components are critical
keep in mind theres a great deal of parts and machining costs they ignored, this is a $15-$20 k engine in most cases
most common sbc parts do no interchange
and a stock oem short block won't work
