As most of you older members know all too well,
I'm an old geezer that types with two fingers and I"m barely comfortable using a computer ,

and typing is certainly not one of my better skill sets
but I will point out that it sure help,s in many cases....if you can post part numbers, and clear detailed pictures if your asking questions!
I get questions like..
"is it normal to see bearing wear like this on an axle at under 12K miles?"

"do these rod bearings look like they can be re-used ?"

"does this plasti-gauge look like its been correctly used ?"

ITS DARN FRUSTRATING...with no picture?
frankly I'd be very happy to voice an opinion , or suggest a potential reason or cause , or maybe a solution, ....well if I had enough info to make a reasonable assessment..if I had a clue but without a clear picture????

Yes, I'm fully aware that many of us don,t have either computer skills or a decent camera,
and yes I'm in that group personally,
but I'm slowly trying to correct that personal short comming by learning all this new technology,
And I'm forced to point out that with todays technology your almost sure to have either some teenager or your kids or one of your friends with a high quality cell phone camera with a internet link-able/ down load compatible camera ,
that could be used to take photos under decent lighting conditions.
having both part numbers and clear detailed pictures of the parts or condition of the parts and a very detailed description of the issue or problem your facing makes the rest of the members far, FAR, more likely to be able to post up a detailed and useful answer to any issue you might face.
now I'll instantly admit I know next to nothing about how to take a decent photo , or how to get your picture, posted on the internet web site, once you've taken that photo, so ID ask that the few computer geeks on the web site post as much valid info as you can and assume that most of the members have zero idea about how to proceed.

any hints you more tech, savvy members may have ,on which reasonably priced cameras too use and detailed instructions on how to take and upload pictures would be great!

obviously this thread would be an excellent place to start out

Allot of newer phones take pictures with a larger file size then the forum allows so downloading a free photo resizer app or changing the camera settings help.
