I am leaving in two hours for Germany...

Any advice on what to do over there?

I got jets, laptop, timing light, tent, beer...

I plan to tinker with water/meth and timing. I think the jetting is fine.

Drop the front sway bar. 90/10 on front shocks.

1 bar on BFG drag raidals to start.

...

You might want to take a quart of oil with you. At the higher RPM, it might need a splash of oil at some point.

A gallon or two of water for car.
Sun Screen
Hat
AAA Phone Number
Tire Pressure Gage

I assume you are taking some tools....right?

Good Luck!

Thanks!!! Leaving in less than an hour. Three hour drive. I might stay the weekend. My son is tagging along.

Bitburg.  Arrived safely.  Time to pitch the tent.   I'm a low-buck operation.

Cool......updates as things progress !!! Must be nice to share this with your son!

Are you camping at the track? Can you take pictures and post them from there?

Too bad you can't stream video in real time so I can ride with you.

Oh and most importantly.....whats for dinner ??.....Oh that's right you are about 7 hours ahead of me, must be about 11:30 pm where you are located.

Years back - many many years, the KUHSTAHL was a great restaurant in town - and of course the Deerpark for venison, between Bit and Spang.

Have heaps of fun - Race safely - Post plenty of pics!

Thanks for posting the pictures! The grey 55 Chevy was very interesting, I like it. Looked to be some very serious race cars there.

It has an F2-Procharger with a cooler on the passenger seat. It dynoed at over 1600 HP. Apparently this on of three cars of the kind in Germany. The other is a Willys and also owned by the same guy. (His Willys is the same color.) But he was not able to register another car - the German MOT shut down the window allowing such modifications.

I know, we chatted exteensively with them as they gave shots of Baileys and Schnapps to us "Amerikanen".

well you may have far fewer guys involved in building hot street cars but the few you posted look impressive

Nice thanks for the pictures, look like there is plenty of fun to be had.
