I’ve been working on my personal adaptation to playing video games.

The prior homeowner had a half-assed target range out back and I need to improve upon the land features. I saw what Mario Andretti built on his place in Nazareth, PA and I got the idea to mimic just what he has.
To save money I need to do the big work when I get a replacement tractor.

I’ve been stockpiling (whenever I can swing a deal) dirt, crushed limestone, shredded hardwoods, sand, riverbed rock and nursery stock.
We went to an Amish auction in Kutztown PA on Thursday I got some trees, and shrubs for next to nothing because of timing. Today the truck came to deliver everything and we hired some Guatemalans to heal them in a fresh dirt mound. Hopefully when the planting season returns in the fall I’ll have something to play with.

We managed to stake out 120 yards by 40 yards to achieve the official length including a buffer zone and stacked log wall for bow and crossbow targets last night. I can’t wait to play out there! There are a few youngsters from Temple U horticulture helping me plan out the walking paths and tree lines. The school has a special drone that with software plots out elevations and gps coordinates.
Because we are in a class III developed township there isn’t any permits or rules to follow however I’m doing most of the rules that would otherwise apply. Posting the area warning of live fire and archery, escape shot buffers and sound absorbing landscape features.
This is what happens when you get cabin fever!

Rich that is a dream of mine to work up a load walk out my back door to my range and let the games begin but anyhow really think this through and do it once and do it right if you plan on being able to fire up to X------ caliber then figure a few calibers up from there but be careful that they don't have a backstop that will stop a cruise missile. The stay over invite got a lot more tempting LOL I didn't realize you were that into shooting

Rich if there is anything I can help you with on the planning you still have my # call me anytime
