just want some reassurance on combo choices

New set of spark plugs ever 50 to 100 miles.
EFI impossible unless Alpha Numeric Electromotive Race System. $10k cash.

My system will do both and can be programmed to switch between the two as the vacuum/map signal becomes stable. Only way to play alpha-n into speed density which has to be mapped through data logging the map signal or strait Alpha-n

Have to Detune.
355 cubes.
No Stroker crank.
No 455 480 496 ci present.

Got this Dyno sheet for a 406 with the exact head I have. Still waiting on exact cam specs though

Has a spread LSA to widen the band I have not looked at the calculators on your build if I get a chance I will tomorrow. Where is your dynamic ratio at? What headers exhaust etc? I used a vacuum canister with the solid Isky I ran for the breaks. I learned a ton here from Grumpy's links and used the Vizard method to spec last cam it works. You can alter specs to get other desires from it. With out Grumpy would not have had knowledge to know what I do. http://garage.grumpysperformance.com/index.php?threads/need-some-bump-stick-101.10226/

Don't know about dynamic. Depends on the cam I choose. Static is 10.53. I have a set of 1.75" Doug's headers. Unsure about muffler at the moment, but it will be a full 3" exhaust with x pipr

Allot of good grumpy camshaft links in the link above to make your own decision based on what you call a streetable camshaft. I like wilder then most but still streetable.

I don't see many Dyno sheets that plot every 100 Rpm.
Test rpm starts at 4,000.
Race Shop Dyno.
Few can do pulls from 2000 rpm up.

I was thinking you had a 350 - 355 -358 sbc.
Its a 400 SBC.
Be more flexiable cam picks.

How Much power do you want ?
It does not matter ?

750 Hp can be done with a 400 SBC with good heads.
Have sing the RPMs & have real good parts.
Be Full Race.

What transmission do you have in your Camaro ?
Mucnie 4 ? M20 with 2.52 1st or M21- M22 with 2.20 1st ?
Turb0 400 ?
Turbo 350 ?
Some Overdrive ?
Know you have 3.42's.

Stick Muncie 4 opens all doors easily what cams can be used.
Left foot is the stall converter.

Running Engine simulations myself.
I have old DD2000.
I do it for the Pontiac Guys on the TA Forum.
So Far I have been dead on on predicted power.
Withing 10-15 HP.
Guys Ran the dragstrip and ET & MPH matched exact what I predicted.

Running 2 Isky Roller Cams DD2000

The Smaller ISKY Roller Cam made more Power.
Get it saved and post my results.
Topped The Crane by a large margin.

Classic Isky 272/282 HR Gen 1 SBC.
Still Wins.
And with 39 degrees less Overlap.
Drive anywhere anytime.
Ready Race WOT when you wish to.
