AS ALWAYS PURCHASING A FACTORY SHOP MANUAL
SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR YEAR MAKE AND MODEL CAR
IS VERY STRONGLY SUGGESTED
as is owning a decent code reader

having a few basic meters, gauges etc.
and the FACTORY shop manual helps
there's nothing on a c4 corvette that you can't diagnose and repair,
if your consistent and persistent and have the correct diagnostic tools
as always do your research,
and THINK!!!
DO YOU RESEARCH,
before throwing cash and new parts at problems

yes tools and meters cost money,
but you'll spend far less money,
if you know what your looking at,

how things function and have reference manuals

I thought that also, but after testing its not working for some reason,
Im having my son (masters in computer tech/ and yeah working on his doctorate) look into it
he swears I helped finance his schooling just solely so,
I could grab him when I have computer issues :giggle:
we all have areas where our skills are better he considers me,
his personal auto mechanic and diagnostic technician,on 24/7/365 call.:like:

its rather amazing how technology progresses, I was a top rated tech in my field for 35 years, I've been out/retired for 20 years and everything has advanced in that field to the point its almost unrecognizable and now almost exclusively computer software and mostly wireless tech intensive ,rather than specialized hardware and PBX centered
