hey grumpyvette, I put 3.5 gallons of race gas in the nearly new 2001 vette at the track,to prevent detonation and add hp, the car runs ok but my buddy says ill screw up my car if I don,t drain it out immediately
?????
ok first step, don,t panic its very unlikey that 3.5 gallons of leaded high test will have a noticable effect on ANYTHING in the car

yes theres a chance the O2 sensors will be harmed but its very unlikely that only 3.5 gallons of high test has enought lead to effect the o2 sensors or cats too any huge extent, if you feel safer draining the tank, then drain the tank, personally I would not bother, as to the injectors, they will be just fine, it has zero effect, if your concerned throw a can of injector cleaner in the next tank of fuel,
if it was my corvette , would not even bother to drain it out, ID just fill the tank with more 93 octane and DRIVE untill it was about 3/4 full and refill or top off with more 93 octane several more times.
next time use TOLUENE as an octane booster, a couple gallons in a tank boosts the octane rateing without the lead.

your heating in the car has NOTHING to do with the leaded fuel, it runs off the hot coolant in the engine and fans and ducting under the dash and a small radiator like heat exchanger, a bit of leaded fuel has absolutely no effect, a sticking duct gate, routing the air is much more likely.
I wish every mistake anyone makes is this minor, really, its like sticking your finger on the stove when your real young to find out why its RED, you learn never ever DO THAT!, but the long term effects are minimal for most people other than LEARNING THE LESSON TO NOT REPEAT THE ACTION
ALWAYS TEST ALL YOUR INJECTORS OHMS RESISTANCE, WITH A MULTI METER, IF YOUR ENGINE RUNS BADLY ,INDIVIDUALLY< THEY SHOULD ALL BE VERY CLOSE TO EQUAL, ANY THAT ARE NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED
