Hello,

I have been around for a long while, just more as a lurker. Between the zillion forums I monitor, and ability to actually use the search feature, I have never really had to ask a question before. I have a question for Grumpy so here I am!

I just took some photos. Dirty as it is a driver, and I usually only detail it around spring. I had a slow water neck leak at the hose I fixed a few months back that ate the paint and rusted my cast iron water neck. I just went to upload to photobucket and they want me to pay. I would rather not- any advise on Photobucket alternatives that don't charge to embed leaks before I start digging around?

Here you go Grump, not pretty at the moment but it always cleans up nicely every spring. I just resized and uploaded until I decide what route I want to take with all the Photobucket BS. My Be-Cool started leaking after about ten years old, so I temporarily am running a SB unit from my parts bin until I get it re-cored this tax season. Usually the B-Cool's fans are switched off the two temp sensors in the water neck, I just have it rigged to a switch at the moment for convenience.

Nice !
Be Cool is over rated.
Had one of thier radiators.

GRIFFIN IS THE BEST.
OWN 2 OF THEM IN 2 OF CARS.
SUPERIOR TO ALL !

I agree, I only bought it because it was used and a good price (and at the time I liked the superficial ability to say "I have a Be Cool radiator" l), the good unit at 34" with the secondary oil cooler. I actually have a diesel brass 34" with the secondary cooler option. I May just re-core that one and change the inlet size. I prefer the brass, but man how brass cores have gone up in price.... I like Griffin's, but the one I have in another vehicle is definitely thinner than my Be Cool. Arg... all aluminum radiators are junk IMO

US Radiators still makes the infamous 4-5 Row Desert Cooler radiators.
Google.
Need $900-1k.

GRIFFIN Universal Fit Drag Race RADIATORS best value $$$.
No trans oil cooler.
Run external stand alone.
Cost is 1/2 to 1/3 rd less.

You will have to down load all pictures from PB to your desktop computer and make separate files for each catagory to separate or just one named as PB. It took me 2 1/2 days to do all mine like that because I wouldn't pay them a dime and I'll never post another photo on their sight as they lost over 200 of my photos that had been subdivided.

Sorry, I didn’t get an alert for this one. I am a little late to the party…

“US Radiators still makes the infamous 4-5 Row Desert Cooler radiators”

-Thanks for the link, embarrassingly I have to admit I am not aware of that unit. I have always liked my B-Cool and my brasser because not only do they have the trans oil cooler, they both also have the additional ports which I utilize for my power steering as I am running a Hydra-Boost for my brakes. This vehicle is not high performance, so really I am more into keeping the engine compartment looking “factoryish clean”. I will eventually add a cooler for my engine oil, so I don’t want to end up with a big mess of stuff, besides I am going back to my fan clutch setup with a seven blade fan and old school Eaton HD fan clutch, so I want my shrouds to fit without looking all fabricated.

I should have reported back… after uploading, I went and played around with PB. It looks like they have not only lowered the subscription price drastically, but they seem to re-allow free embedding as long as the photo retains the water mark. These are my rates, but possibly since my account dates back to 2003 I get a lower rate?
