Saw this on facebook from our local chassis dyno shop.

"It's time to get your Hellcat ready for race weather with one of our TSM Kitty packages. Pictured is the TSM Stage 3R package with everything you need to run 9s in the 1320. If your looking to simply unleash the beast or spray your way to a 1000+ rwhp we have you covered. TSM even has a couple of 428 Hellcat Stroker engines underway for those looking for Hellcat Horsepower Nirvana."FB_IMG_1488596186298.jpg

Store bought as a starting base line pretty cool if you ask me. Good base performance from factory. I don't hate it, it is what it is and it is not NA so comparing to NA is a waste of time. It is like when I used to have an audi a 1.8t was more desirable then the bigger 6 cause cheaper to turn the turbo up and lighter (Hellcat a Fat cat though). These are cool, look for direct injection to take over where port injection was and other tech. Will see soon hybrid technologies that make big power also. Would like to see the the other big 3 play along these games but it is like Kawasaki is in the bike race have the dominating drag out of the box. It is a niche market like corvette to over 50 men who have kids grown up. And Ford to the really stupid rich super collector GT40. All have a strategy and market for there special vehicle groups. What is boring about a car that pulls into the 9's. Can't hate on a car that did something the other car manufactures didn't that what I see happening.

I know it's a old post, but being New I just seen it.
I have both, 68 Camaro and a Hellcat charger, I bought the hellcat for my wife
That wanted to let it rip down the drag strip and stop at the store on the way home to get groceries.
And I bought it because it's one of 37 made in Go-mago orange with a factory black painted top.
People ask which one I like best camaro or hellcat, I say both because they are two totally different cars
You drive the 68 the Hellcat drives it's self.

My thoughts were ( out of the box fun)
And teaches my wife how to race a bit easier and probably safer, they throwing her in 6 or700 hp car that if stuff goes wrong you better know how to get out of it
Before you find a ditch or wall.

A couple of you know this but will explain anyway20170306_065926.jpg 20170213_181936.jpg

Its the Car That Brought Drag Racing back along with Street Outlaws 405 with Big Chief & his Twin Turbo High Boost Pontiac V8 powered The Crow GTO.

Turned the Corvette world upside down..

Its a hard car to be Drag Racing and street racing on a tight budget or decent budget yet.

Like I said its a long story.
Started in 2014.

Now the in thing is to eat tide pods,
play call of duty...or race diesel trucks

Hell in 1991 you got in your car or a buddies car and
cruised for chicks,

You drive the 68 - the Hellcat drives it's self.

This nails exactly why the new cars make me YAWN, even a Hellcat.
I NEVER want a vehicle to drive for me. I drive the vehicle. Period! That's what makes it fun.
