next time you have a few pieces of scrap 3/4" plywood ,
or can salvage, plywood scrap from a dumpster at a construction site,
cut two rectangles
two 12" w x 16"t
two 16"t x 20"w
two 12" x 21.5"

use lots of wood glue and 4 short sections of 2x4 16" long,
in the inside corners and a few dozen 2" drywall screws
too build a 6 sided rectangular box,
paint the box with a good water proof paint, several coats,
or use fiberglass resin, or poly urethane as paint
you can use that box has three different height options
depending on how you place alternated opposite sides
,facing down for you to sit on the upper facing side.
three different sides can have anti skid rubber mat glued and screwed,
to the box to make in anti skid and
less likely to have water or oil damage,as an option.
having a handy box seat,
with three potential height options comes in handy,

when doing brake jobs and similar work,
and it costs very little to build.

I like this project Grumpy.
Going to keep in mind to build it.
I will use for a step for working on my Trucks under the hood.
Sitting down when tired.
