IF YOU OWN OR BUY AN M1A1
1. Clearance the stock from rubbing on the gas cylinder or op rod.
2. Clearance the hand guard from rubbing on the stock.
3. Properly shim the gas cylinder until gas lock snugs around 5 o'clock.
4. Grease the front band where it touches the ferrul.
5. Verify your action with tilt tests on oprod/bolt and piston.
Ive have several friends that have been looking for a scope mount for an M1A1 and I find a dozed versions with prices ranging from $27-$360 JUST FOR THE MOUNT AND RINGS, thats not including a scope, now obviously quality varies but I think that price spreads absurd?
what should they be looking for and whats a good value
