Mi-T-M pressure washer

It's a bit overkill but I picked up a new to me 3500psi 3.3gpm heated pressure washer for a fair price. It's a pretty hefty industrial grade piece that should work very well for what I bought it for.

I do need to replace the heat exchanger and a few other pieces to make the heating portion of it work.

After installing a new battery and cables the electric start option worked great and the honda engine fired right up.

The plan is to use the pressure washer to wet blast my chevelle, the chassis, and rearend using a siphon sand blasting attachment.

This option seemed a lot easier than using the conventional sandblaster I bought from harbor freight. I gave up on that after about 10 mins.

I would like to utilize the pressure pot of the sandblaster though so I can positively feed the blasting tip verses relying on the supplied siphon.

Definitely shoot some pics when you get some results, would love to see how it nice it works.

while it looks potentially very promising,
let us know what you find after using it for awhile,
and how you feel about the equipment purchase after you've used it a few times.

I will do that for sure. I watched a few videos online and it looks to work pretty effectively. From that I could tell it is not as messy as a conventional sandblaster and no worry about silicosis or panel warpage.

Thankfully I work with a guy that use to have a dustless blasting system, so he pointed me in the right direction for a rust inhibitor that can be added to the water as you spray. It's a product called holdtight 102 that can be mixed in a variety of ratios depending on what your working on.

why not post a short video if you can, pointing out the proper use,of the tool.
and the advantages of using that rust preventative product,
with the tool once youve worked with it a few times.
the vast majority of the people have not used that equipment or seen its advantages.

Not a bad idea grumpy that'll give my gopro camera a chance to do its job since I've stopped racing. I might even be able to mount it to the spray wand for a close up point of view.
