Thanks for letting me in. I am new to this 3rd gen hotrodding,I always ran trucks, best I had was a 80 1500 series with 400sb and th400 tranny 14 flat 1/4. Then I got to raise 2 kids for 19 yrs, now they are getting grown so, now this T/A comes buy once in a while and boy it sounds and runs good so I told myself I got to get me one of them. lol I ended up getting a 90 Iroc that sat up for 5 yrs without being cranked, But its all orig except the tranny and radio, never been wrecked just setting up it has 156000 miles on it. It,s got this new looking thing called tpi never really saw one but I found out it works like a carb well sorta, I kept researching and replaced fuel pump,Battery, fuel filter, cleaned the injectors myself (they said it wouldn,t work) oh yea has to bypass that vats problem, pita if you,ve only heard of them. But when I got all this done it took several Saturdays, I cranked the old baby up. Then I found out the tranny was bad wont shift past 2nd. So I happen to have a th400 that also needs rebuilding and a L31 complete short block with spun rod bearing to replace that LB9 (305). I have really enjoyed crawling under and over and in and out of this old car. Oh yea I had to build a shed to put it in when the temp got up and stayed 103, 15 straight days this past June, thats the only time I didn,t want to or couldn,t work on it and enjoy it. OK thats pretty much me right now. Its not a perfect 03 T/A with a LS1 but when I am through he,s going to say boy I got to get me one of them. :D

welcome, to the site, its always nice to have the older guys who have some life experience behind them add insite.
I had/have a dream of installing a 4L80E, dana 60 and 572 BBC in my vette, and redoing the interior and paint, and doing it in my dream garage/shop,I started by building that shop, after I found out what it really cost vs the estimates , I might have been smarter to just build the car and forget the shop, but I wanted BOTH!
IVE helped several guys mod their corvettes that way , but being retired and on a pension moneys tight so I do what I can when I can, one advantage I have or mistake Ive made(depends on how you look at it)Is I built a dream shop/garage and spent more money on that than the project itself would cost(we all make choices)
