Mixing humor with wrenches

Paul, after reading your 1st 3 posts about who you are, I think I'm going to like this place. Likewise I believe mixing humor with wrenches makes the project go better. Totally agree with learning as much as possible from those who have already been there. In 1996 when I had the "privelige" of my 1st cam failure, I went cam knowledge collecting. A local mechanic, Rick, was very helpful then and again now with my 2009 cam failure. He has been "around" BB Chevys for many years and his "test" engines are his pull trucks that he runs at 9000 RPM for however long it take to pull the sled from point A to point B. I try not to take abvantage of him too much so I throw him a $20 like every other "tech"session.
Does this mean I need to send you a $20 every other time I log on?

just try to contribute useful info and pictures to help others on the site, the $20 would be nice but i seriously doubt the site will grow if I start charging members for glimpses into my experience with cars & engines, and Ive been told my humors an "ACQUIRED TASTE" IE it grows on you after while
