everything takes longer costs more, and has issues, example
they quote you a 16 ft trailer at about $278 a month and about $3299 to move each one from fla to tx

Looks like you could buy a 18-20 foot enclosed trailer and make a 2-3 trips and still be cheaper.

Umm, I‘ve done this a few times So I know a little on this subject. Its greed right now, fuel goes up a dollar a gallon and business over compensates by over raising their increases. I had a guy quote me a price for bringing and operating a chipper/shredder at my place, then he ups his price by 1/3 because of the high price of gas. By my calculations he must be paying $32 a gallon for reg unleaded.

You have to think outside the lines on this move and I have several things to try. Have you tried a trucking and rail broker? Perhaps they would pick up on a dead load one way to TX? I just bought materials from a defunct IN contractor at auction, got a rate of 0.284 per lb from site to depot for a shit-load of steel rebar, a couple I beams, some angle iron and what remained of a custom metal roof 5’X16’ sheets x 30. This a good direction for you to start looking but never call a shipper direct - never!

yes I took the kubota to texas, its a B7800
it cost my $2k to have it shipped fla-tx
