the constantly increasing cost of the cars, the rapidly increasing and more expensive tech,
endlessly more restrictive rules,
and the cost to view racing by the fans, little resemblance to the
"STOCK CARS" the fact you can,t buy or build something even , only vaguely similar in looks
or performance, on the street and it ALL spiraled out of control.

Every sport will suffer this same fate as it all boils down to money and lots of it.

Nascar changed drastically when STOCK cars were no longer used in the sport and the cookie cutter cars were expensive . Then the Manufacturers pulled out in the 80s when Emissions took over and smaller engines built. No Factory Performance cars.

The Performance cars of today are so expensive, the average Joe cannot afford it for his daily/family driver.

I no longer support any professional sports because of the money factor alone---and then someone claims negligence on an Owner/Team because the got hurt or died....They played for free when in middle/high/collage knowing all the risks just to go Pro for the money.

I agree today's modern day Musclecars are expensive.
Sure Many can buy but come time to pay the mortgage, rent, power bill, trash bill, water bill, healthcare or Obama care not going to work out.
