Need to get the interior door panel off so I can fix the power window that's sticking.

Should I push or pull on the pin, tried both and neither seem to make any difference. Didn't want to tear it up if I don't have to !

I can,t tell from the picture but the vast majority of interior panel plug connectors are PULL to remove type plug fasteners

Instructions
Things You'll Need

Thin flat-head screwdriver
Phillips-head screwdriver
Pliers

1

Look for a pin in the center of the push fastener head. Pry the small center pin up with a thin flat-head screwdriver. This pin has a small shaft that spreads the shank apart to secure the liner.
2

Grasp the edges of the push pin with your fingertips, and pull the pin away from the liner.
3

Turn the center pin counter-clockwise with a small Phillips-head screwdriver, if the center pin has a slot for the screwdriver. This type of pin does the same thing as the previous, except that it twists to lock the center of the pin.
4

Insert a flat-head screwdriver between the bottom edge of the pin and the liner, if there is no center pin in the head. This type of pin is not reusable. Pry the pin head up enough with the screwdriver that you can grab the head with a pair of pliers.
5

Grab the push pin head with a pair of pliers and pull the pin away from the liner and fender.

Thanks for the comments !

A "push pin" fastener has two parts in my mind. The Helm manuals calls it a push pin, but it's not. The second head just give you something easy to get a hold of. Hence I just had to pull harder. I used an flat blade offset screwdriver, which work fairly well.
