Looking around at DC this morning Grumpy.
Gary GT1999 thread 12-bolt C3 diff build.
Decided not to comment because I like Gary.

C3 Corvette used as a Race car is coming to an end.
Parts are really no longer there to build a super strong diff for the masses.
I would have to say less than 100 builds left.

C5 & C6 have rear steer problems without a Full rollcage.

C7 is just expensive.

C4 is the Very Best platform to build a Street race Car from all Corvettes.
Just a no sell because the styling is not liked by most except You & Me & Gunny.
They Are rock stable at 150 mph or at least my 87 C4 Vert is.

Vintage musclecars are expensive.

Those guys with those Dicsco era Trans Ams 1977-78 are Retarded asking $100K. Nothing special about them.
Decals are nice thats it.
Worth $4,000 to me. So Ficken slow.
That Pro Tour Guy made them all slow.
Pass them all with my 1963 Pontiac Gp with Olds 425 Super Rocket Power.
 
After seeing the the COPO Electric Drag Camaro Grumpy.......Dodge may be trying to save the Internal Combustion Engine from the Demos.

Entire USA in the Cold winter will be screwed ......You need heat or you will freeze to death.
Nothing does that like an internal combustion engine with its cooling system & heater core.

I never see those electric cars out here when its -20 to -25F here on the roads or highways local or in Chicago.

Its actually the best way to keep the Old Baby Boomers Safe ..... in a Corvette.
Give them low HP up to 550 HP.
They are too old & reflexes too slow to handle 1000 + HP.
