ID suggest starting with 5 qts IN THE OIL PAN PLUS PREFILL THE OIL FILTER then verify on the dipstick after you let it run for 30 seconds and turn it off that the dipstick still reads the oil pan oil level reads correctly, if it needs a bit more add it!

I have not been able to find this oil with the latest API SN certification. The bottle says, “No leading synthetic oil provides better wear protection . For once, a product hype turns out to be true.
